Episode 131: Homeopathy in the Solomon Islands with Katie Emerson

Katie Emerson has just returned from a two-week stint in the Solomon Islands where she was working with a small team of homeopaths helping train a team of 50 local people to help continue the homeopathic training that they have received for the last 100 years.

In the Solomon Islands, homeopathy has been used as Water medicine. It was initially taken over by church members who used homeopathy for their own families. It soon became apparent that homeopathy was a useful form of medicine for use in the outlying villages as long as they had access to the remedies and homeopathic training.

Katie explains exactly how this takes place, the way the training is given and accepted, and the challenges faced and the opportunities that arise.  She explains the key takeaways from her experience and shares the vision for the future of taking homeopathy to the people that need it most.
