Episodes – Sacred Sites of Northumbria

As an American, I have only the haziest idea of what Northumbria is like. However, I still enjoy listening to Marc Johnstone's exploration. His enthusiasm is palpable and his powers of description make me feel I am actually visiting the idyllic sounding spots. In a sense, I feel as if I am listening to a modern-day M. R. James who is sharing his discoveries, albeit archeological instead of those of an antiquarian. Altogether a delightful podcast and I look forward to future episodes.
