Jess and Carrie are cheerleaders for emotional literacy and EQ is their podcast dedicated to helping us all strengthen our Emotional Quotient. In the EQ HQ, we will investigate all things emotional intelligence through the framework of critical discourse, oral history, interviews, pop culture critique, occasional oversharing, and elevated riffing. We are experimenting with giving our more complex and unpolished emotions intentional space because we feel our collective futures demand the legitimizing of these powerful subterranean forces.     Spit It OUT

    What was that you said? No, I didn't hear you. Can you repeat yourself? Clearly? LOUDER? Like you might actually believe it when you say it? EQ has awakened from a long, tumultuous slumber with a simple plea - just spit it OUT already! Do you find yourself or your loved ones hiding behind not rocking the boat, thoughts like "someone should say it, but that someone just can't be me" or (gasp!) even..... propriety?
