    Welcome to the first episode of Escape Artists: a podcast about music, film and other escapist artforms! In this bumper pilot, host Danny Randon (pronouns: he/him) sits down with Justine Jones (she/her) and Sammy Urwin (he/him), lead vocalist and guitarist/co-vocalist of UK metal titans Employed to Serve, ahead of the release of their incredible fourth album 'Conquering' on 17th September via Spinefarm Records / Universal Music Group. Justine and Sammy also co-run Church Road Records, the record label that has been behind some of the standout alternative, heavy and extreme music releases of the last few years, from the likes of Palm Reader, Svalbard, Slow Crush, Celestial Sanctuary and more. If that's not enough, they also play together in a multitude of musical projects, including the hardcore punk supergroup Glorious and their deathgrind duo Bile. During this episode, Justine and Sammy talk about the sensational 12 months that they've had at Church Road Records, as well as their journey to creating the new Employed to Serve record.
