I’m hooked!

Very interesting story. I love how it’s being told from different aspects, and the narration is great! Story doesn’t drag on or drag details out. Can’t wait for more!

Interesting

Pretty interesting so far. I live about as close as one can to DIA, so I’m really excited to see where this goes. Keep up the good work cast and crew!

Interesting concept, execution could use some work

Escaping Denver is a found footage podcast , starting two people who are stuck in the maze under Denver Airport, put together by an unnamed narrator. It was this take on the DIA conspiracy theories that got my attention.

The biggest issue I have with this podcast is the role of the narrator. The creators of the podcast are clearly going after a House of Leaves, Johnny The Narrator vibe, and, so far, it seems to hurt the overall impact of the show.

Found footage is always a little unbelievable, but the narrator’s frequent interruptions don’t really clarify, but rather just draws attention to the unbelievable nature of what is going on. Also, there are a few cool subtle facts that the characters have dropped that were undercut by the narrator’s spelling them out.

On top of that, the Narrator should have listened to everything to edit things down, so wouldn’t he just be pretending to not know what is going to happen?
