    A Taste of Japan

A taste of Japan is our first episode of the soon to be ongoing World Taste series. Our plan is to purchase various food items from around our great planet. These will be things that are very often not available locally. Using the powers of the internet, we will acquire a pile of random items and we will taste them. Our lucky listeners will be able to follow along as we discover the tastes of the world. Planet Earth is a buffet and we plan to eat it up! The first stop on our taste tour is Japan. While shopping on Amazon for some blankets, Leah accidently also purchased the Ninjapo snack box. Hence, a new series for Have Coffee Will Travel was born. Join us on this episode for a taste of Japan! The exact title of the listing on Amazon is:Japanese Snacks Assortment 30pcs “TONO SNACK” Excellent Variety and Delicious Selection of Japanese Dagashi Our snacks arrived in a cute pink box with anime characters, a mountain scene and a temple. The words are in both English and Japanese. 30 different snacks are included. Some of these items are similar in nature, but each individual item is different. The flavours offer a wide range of experiences, and the textures are quite unique. Product description Suitable for yourself, share with friends and families, party, gift and so on. Contents may be different from pictures. According to the AI generated amalgamation of reviews: Customers find the snack mix enjoyable and interesting. They appreciate the variety of treats and flavors. The snacks have a good selection and appearance. However, some customers feel it’s not worth the money, with small snacks and a small amount for the price. There are also complaints about smell and mixed opinions on taste and staleness. Overall, this is a fun experimental episode. If you enjoy ASMR, and listening to people experience things for the first time, this is the episode for you. This week’s podcast promo: Monkeeing Around
