    I continue to deal with a mental tug-of-war: be grateful for what I have, but also upset that my friends made me stay in town when they don't plan on doing anything. So, why not be passive aggressive about it to make them feel bad? That'll show them! Or will it?

    Part 1 of a 3 part episode: There are three "big" birthdays in a young person's life: their 16th, their 18th, and the grandaddy of them all, their 21st. As someone who doesn't like to drink, it didn't mean that much to me. However, I still wanted to celebrate somehow.

    Forever Alone Freshman

    Everyone's freshman year of college requires an adjustment period. Going from a class of 40 to a class of 1000 was a big change for me, especially since I didn't like to party or drink. That lead to some humorous encounters and some lonely nights.

    Some struggle to figure out which team to root for when they first get into sports. I was no exception. I liked to visually show which teams I supported by wearing their logos. The problem was, the teams I was supporting were not only in the same league, but were rivals of each other too.
