Foundational for strategic thinking

There is so much content available for pastors these days about how to lead, and 10 steps to grow their church, 4 ways to disciple online, etc.
But there is much less available about the foundation for how to think about Jesus' Goals when it comes to Jesus' Church.

Gospel thinking. Thinking about transformation, and what it looks like, and what needs to change in us, and our church culture so that we can cooperate with the work of the Spirit...this is an entire different kind of thinking.

If we had gospel saturated thinking...or gospel fluency...we would strategize differently....our people would experience transformation more deeply...and they would talk to people who don't know Jesus differently (actually, they might listen more!)

Helpful for all church leaders

Alan, David, and Nate do a great job at encouraging church leaders to ask “what is essential?”

With a vast array of knowledge and experience these guys are a valuable voice in an important space.

Discerning the essentials has never been more important.

In a word full of distractions and potential opportunities, the ability to discern what is essential for churches who are called to make disciples has never been more important. I’m grateful for a resource like this to help me to focus on not just what is good to do, but what our primary calling is as Christians!
