    Supernatural Encounter Changed Her Life Forever - EP 181

    Lou Lynn shares a medical crisis in which she became unconscious, heard Jesus tell her to go to the hospital, and experienced an "in-between" place she calls "the great white," filled with His love and peace.     180. Misty Phillip on AI, Discernment, and God's Timing: Using Technology to Advance the Gospel

    Misty Phillip has many bullets on her resume. She has even had her photo displayed in Times Square, which is pretty amazing, but the thing I love most about her is her passion for championing others. Her testimony speaks powerfully to what God can do through our obedience and it's such a beautiful reminder that His timing is impeccable!  Misty shares about God's timing in launching the Spark Christian Podcast Conference on Feb. 21–22, 2020—just weeks before the pandemic—equipping believers to keep sharing the gospel when churches shut down. She shares her background from working at Enron to homeschooling, then writing, speaking, podcasting, and creating Spark Media; she also wrote six books and an award-winning 2019 Bible study, The Struggle is Real, but So is God.     179. Burned in 18-Foot Flames: Jamie Cashion's Survival, Saved Hands, and Faith-Fueled Mission

    Jamie Cashion recounts how, at 15, he became a volunteer firefighter in Joshua, Texas and on Feb. 24, 1984 was trapped in a 2,500-acre grass fire with 18-foot flames and 42-mph winds, burning for 38 seconds after trying to help rescue a stalled water-truck driver; he describes crying out to God, being guided to the last firefighter on scene, and being airlifted to Parkland with 36% third-degree burns. Doctors discussed amputating his fingers, but his paraplegic mother prayed and insisted otherwise. He was transferred to the Shriners Burn Institute, avoided amputation, endured brutal treatment, and later faced social stigma from masks and splints. Cashion became a deputy fire marshal and a lifelong martial artist approaching a 10th-degree black belt. He uses his scars and platform to teach, witness, and encourage burn victims and children worldwide, emphasizing hope, prayer, and God's timing.
