    Battling Sex Trafficking

    Hope Filled Rooms is an anti-trafficking ministry in Birmingham. The ministry offers a respite house where women involved in sex trafficking can find safety, love, and practical support such as meals, laundry, and showers. They also collaborate with law enforcement and conduct online outreach to assist women being exploited online. The founder, Holley Copeland shares her journey of initially resisting involvement due to fear but being convicted through prayer to support anti-trafficking efforts. Over time, she has become deeply committed, even overcoming her initial fears. Her husband supports her work, which includes balancing family life and ministry responsibilities. The ministry's approach focuses on unconditional love, inspired by Jesus' love for all, regardless of their situation. They emphasize consistency and prayer in their outreach, building trust with the women they help. Their third son, David, was born with a rare brain condition, living for 12 years without developing beyond infancy. Later, her husband's infidelity led to his resignation, and they moved to recover.
