Dangerous Driving Behaviors Rise
A new report finds unsafe driving behaviors, including speeding, red-light running, drowsy driving, and driving impaired on cannabis or alcohol, rose from 2020 to 2021. The most alarming increase was among drivers admitting to getting behind the wheel after drinking enough that they felt they were over the legal limit - an increase of nearly 24%. According to new survey data from the AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety, this is a reversal in the steady declines in these dangerous driving behaviors in the three years from 2018 through 2020.
This week on 'Everything Under the Sun', Dean DeVore welcomes Jake Nelson, AAA’s director of traffic safety advocacy and research to discuss this new report and what we as drivers can do to reverse this trend.

Finally Found a Good One
I have been searching for a good podcast for years and sort of blew by this one 😊
Los of different subjects but the most important was finding two broadcasters with wonderful speaking voices. You will not tire of these two, like so many podcast voices.
Fun, interesting topics
I like how this podcast tackles so many different topics! One week it’s historical events like the blizzard of ‘93 or the moon landing, then something more current in the news. The personality profiles of meteorologists from around the country are cool too!
Good
My dad works there so I kinda have to write something nice. But they are actually genuinely good.
