When a businessman is gruesomely murdered, all fingers point towards his business partner, Oliver Hilditch. Known for his legal prowess, defense attorney Francis Ledsam steps in to save Hilditch from the noose, securing a not guilty verdict. However, the victory is short-lived when Hilditchs wife reveals that her husband is a perpetrator of even more heinous crimes than murder.
