    This week we recap the second half of Julien’s Denmark vacation after his return, as well as briefly check in on the ongoing World Cup and our thoughts on it so far. Flin then shares his experience and feelings related to visiting a cardiologist after prolonged time of avoidance, leading into a wider conversation about fears, uncertainty, and confronting the unknown to find peace. From there, we somehow find ourselves exploring the Year of the Fire Horse, superstitions, belief systems, mythology, and the strange world of dreams; lucid dreaming, sleep paralysis, and some thoughts and stories in between. We also discuss how to actually support friends when they're struggling, and why simply listening is often more valuable than giving advice. Also making a case for normalizing not competing in friendly conversations, for less interrupting and less "one upping" other peoples stories.     Prepared By Accident

    A slightly different episode this week as we call Julien during his Denmark vacation for a quick check-in from there. Flin shares the intense story of witnessing a nearby car accident and becoming the first person on the scene, leading to a conversation about preparedness, responsibility, and how seemingly unrelated interests can equip us for unexpected situations. We go from talking about driving, to GTA, returning fashion trends, the Tumblr era and early social media days, reflecting on how our relationship with privacy and self-expression has changed over time, as did the internet in general.     Having Fun!?

    Evolving

    This week we recap our first days at our new side jobs, the atmosphere, first impressions, awkward moments, and the thoughts that come with stepping into a new environment. We also talk about Arda Saatçi and the mindset behind his extreme endurance challenges, the discipline, identity, and pushing one's personal limits, to achieve things other people claim to be impossible. From there, we reflect on friendships and the idea that keeping them alive sometimes means creating new memories instead of only revisiting old ones, which might have sparked plans of us possibly revisiting an old summer camp from our childhood and turning nostalgia into something present again.
