Lil Dave informs the listener like the best radio DJs of yesterday. His shows are so full of information; sentence after sentence of interesting facts piling up to create a mountain of “a-ha” moments. He rewards the music nerd with deep, anecdotal and historical facts about well known projects, and connects them with much more obscure and niche driven ones, giving the audience a very broad understanding of the ideas being discussed. He’s thorough and professorial, but speaks as if he’s your super well-read friend, telling you all the other reasons you should be interested in an artist, besides what their music sounds like.
