Social media gives you an awesome advantage over previous generations.  I am delighted by the depth of inspiring information you can discover everyday on the internet.  In this lesson, I encourage you to enhance your life, gain insight, and see things from a new perspective. Don't be content to just survive life. Really drink deep and take full advantage of social media.



Social media is a two edged sword. It will support you and take you to greater levels in life, or it will bring you down and make you miserable. You find what you look for in social media. It is an exercise in self-disciple. You can excel. There is a better version of you in the future and social media can be a stepping stone to that better you.

What causes Christians to sit on the sidelines and do little of nothing to fight the good fight (1 Timothy 6:12)? The answer involves much, but the solution is easier to identify. Inner motivation can often be found in falling in love with God with a burning passion that simply cannot sit idle. Motivation can often be found in being part of a local church family, being part of a team that shares a love for God and stirs up love and good works (Hebrews 10:24). Time is limited. The clock of life is ticking. We must seek first the kingdom of God while we can (Matthew 6:33). Thus, we fight the good fight daily in obvious ways and in subtle ways. We fence Satan in as much as possible, restricting his freedom to work his diabolical genius. The good news is that together we can make a difference.

You were not born a hero, but you can become a hero. No, it is not easy. Becoming a spiritual "Navy SEAL" is one of the toughest things you will ever do, and yet love it more than anything you have ever done in life. The depth of satisfaction cannot be described to the inexperienced. That language of inner victory simply does not resonate with those whose hearts are not set on the winner's circle. There is a paradox here. Few make it, but all are fully equipped to make it. You are equipped. It is not a question of being equipped, but a questions of trusting the one that equipped us. Hebrews 11:6 tells us that without faith it is impossible to please God. It also tells us that God is a rewarder of those that diligently seek Him. That is what all spiritual heroes have in common. They refuse to give up in their search for God.

What is Truth? Every generation ponders this question as though it were the unsolvable mystery of the universe. You would think that the mystery of quantum physics was easier to solve than the discernment of truth. In an age when many people believe, "Your truth is your truth, and my truth is my truth," the simple answer is inconvenient. The answer is so simple, that everyone know the truth from a lie almost instantly when they catch someone in a lie. Almost everyone know the truth from a lie when they are lying. This is not a great mystery. The challenge is that the truth is an inconvenient reality that most people do not want to face. Most people prefer their fantasy over the truth. IN the end, the question is simply, are we tough enough to handle the truth.

When did America dismiss God and ask Him to leave? When did America assign God a place far back in the background? Obviously ideas vary and I believe that many people possess various pieces of the truth. It is a big complex picture, and this podcast gives you insight from my particular conservative angle. I believe that God is a gentleman, and when America asked Him to step into the background, He respected our request. Unfortunately, we did not consider the consequence that unavoidably result. You and I individually cannot put God back in the center of the stage of America, but individually we can put Him at the center of our life. And as more and more of us put Jesus at the center, then eventually, God takes center stage in our culture.

Satan and all his various immoral forces are just waiting to attack you and your family, in some manner or another. Satan does not mind if you are religious and play church as long as he has bumped you off the straight and narrow road. So what is your defense? How will you protect yourself? Spiritual self-defense is a necessity. You need a plan, a strategy, and in this podcast I offer you the beginning of a great plan to leave Satan frustrated and defeated.
