    This week’s solo episode is one whole start to finish story. I describe my experiences at a dermatologist’s office, if that doesn't sound in line with my usual stripper-y subject matter don’t worry I made it be! I describe not wanting to be “that guy at the strip club” who wastes the time of people who are trying to do a job. You’ll hear about my both wacky and infuriating experience of being repeatedly asked by a doctor what I do for work. Part of my story is about liking kids but not wanting to create more of them and what the hell that had to do with one of my appointments! Some winter weather sets the stage for my depiction of the neighborhood I live in, what I love about it as well as the hazardous it presented to me while trying to get to my third appointment.  Enjoy storytelling and a plow load of riffs on this episode. Keenan starts our conversation by telling me about entering the adult industry while in high school…he was 18 years old, okay?! We discuss how to talk to customers and clients, factors that may affect how legally challenging sex work is in different locations and why some escorting websites have disappeared while others have remains.     I am sick and have a raspy voice in this episode. I play a “post work audio clip” about two delightful gentleman’s club customers who were army medics pretending to work in the public school system. I tell two stories about meeting gay male customers at the club, one guy was a bummer and brought up some misogyny frustrations for me but my second true tale about gay men at the strip club is fun. A former adult performer told me some fun stories about his previous career, the drink his friend bought me led to some antics later in the episode.     This is part 2 of a 2 episode interview with Tui. This week Tui and I talk a bunch about the differences between working as a stripper in New Zealand and the United States. I was fascinated by this conversation and learned that in New Zealand dancers are encouraged to leave the club with their customers and have a night on the town or spend time together in a more private setting.     Other than demanding that people act as my furniture I don't have many tools in my stripper toolbox when it comes to creating a positive experience for my customers who enjoy being dominated. On this episode I tell my success story for creating a safe but exciting private room experience for a submissive customer. I give a tip about getting tips, talk about why it's red flag when guys tell me they prefer women without makeup and in a “post work audio clip” I talk about a (physically) slippery encounter with a customer.     It’ll just be me telling stories and answering questions on this week’s solo episode but the memories of some very fun strip club customers is so fresh on my mind that you’ll think all three of us are in the room! Other happenings on this episode, I explore two different club’s cultures around what we dancers wear to work before we change into our outfits for the night. In the “single stripper update” segment of the show I question why one of my young, polite and good looking customers has been so unsuccessful finding a suitable person to date. Later, I talk about something that surprised me in a paid private half hour session. I conclude this week’s episode examining a racially charged comment that a customer made to me recently.     Mia and I open this week’s episode talking about our stripper costumes, honestly the phrase “if the shoe fits wear it” could hold some irony in our line of work. Mia takes the time to share some of her work success stories and hustle tactics. She describes the ways being a dancer is creating financial security and positive experiences that she can offer her daughter. Mia tells some very interesting stories about sugar dating, which at that point in the conversation I’m amazed she has time for! Mia ends this week’s episode with some heartfelt things to share about the ways us dancers take care of one another.
