Verses: व्यक्तिगत जीवन में (In Personal Life) नव नवल रस जगत दिखावा। पर हित बिनु सुफल नहिं पावा।। निज सनेह अरु नितिगत नाता। तजि नहिं चाहिअ सुघर बिधाता।। अस्थिर मीत करै जग प्रीती। छिन छिन बदलै कांचिन रीती।। पुरजन बंधु जो संग निभाहीं। तेहि सम कछु जग जीवन नाहीं।। अर्थ: नया आकर्षक दिख सकता है, लेकिन सच्चे संबंध वही होते हैं जो समय की कसौटी पर खरे उतरते हैं। दुनिया में नए-नए दोस्त या अवसर मिल सकते हैं, लेकिन पुराने मित्र और संबंध ही वास्तविक संपत्ति होते हैं। 2. नवाचार और प्रौद्योगिकी में (In Innovation and Technology) नित नवल चलि जगत बखाना। पुरजन विद्या तजहिं सयाना।। जे नित नूतन चितवहिं नीके। छोड़ि पुरातन, नर दुख दीखे।। परिखे बिनु नव विधि जो गही। पाछे लागै हानि सही।। जो नवल पुरातन संग मिलाई। गूढ़ तत्त्व तब जीवन पाई।। अर्थ: नई-नई चीज़ों की ओर आकर्षण होना स्वाभाविक है, लेकिन पुरानी विधियों को पूरी तरह छोड़ देना हानिकारक हो सकता है। जो व्यक्ति परखे बिना पुराने ज्ञान और तकनीकों को त्याग देता है, वह असफलता का सामना करता है। सर्वोत्तम प्रगति वही होती है, जब नए विचारों को पुरानी सफलताओं के साथ संतुलित किया जाए। 3. सांस्कृतिक और सामाजिक परंपराओं में (In Cultural and Social Practices) नव नवल रीति चलहिं जग माहीं। सद्गुरु नीति बुझहि कछु नाहीं।। जे सत मार्ग तजै अकुलाहीं। जनम जनम पछितावहिं ताहीं।। संस्कृति जेवति जग उजियारा। तजि तेहीं जग होत अंधियारा।। संगति नवल हित साधु बिचारी। पर ससक निति गवाइ निहारी।। अर्थ: नई-नई प्रथाएँ और फैशन लोकप्रिय हो सकते हैं, लेकिन अगर कोई पुरानी परंपराओं और संस्कारों को त्याग देता है, तो वह अपनी जड़ों से कट जाता है। संस्कृति केवल अतीत की धरोहर नहीं, बल्कि समाज की वास्तविक पहचान है। नवीनता अपनाओ, लेकिन मूल संस्कारों को नष्ट मत करो। 4. व्यावहारिक निर्णय लेने में (In Practical Decision-Making) नव उपाय जब आवहि हाती। तजि पुर रीत करहि सब बाती।। जे नवल पथ परिखे बिना ही। करहिं क्रिया बिनु लाभ कही।। नूतन पुरतन जो बिसरी। धीरज बुद्धि समर्पित करी।। सोई नीति नृप हित कर होई। संभु समीप गुनिन निज सोई।। अर्थ: कोई नया उपाय अच्छा लग सकता है, लेकिन बिना परीक्षण के पुराने को त्याग देना मूर्खता है। पुराने और नए में संतुलन बनाकर ही वास्तविक लाभ पाया जा सकता है। जो व्यक्ति धैर्य और बुद्धिमत्ता से निर्णय लेता है, वही दीर्घकालिक सफलता प्राप्त करता है।

Chaupais Explored: परम स्वतंत्र भयहिं जस एहू। एक उपाय कहौं मैं तेहू।। जेहि इष्ट देव सुमिरहु भाई। कबहुँ न ताहि वश करि जाई।। मंत्रन बल देवहि बस करई। भक्त हित प्रभु आपहि धरई।। सच्चा भगत न चाहै कबहूँ। बस करै देव, पतन करहूँ।। जो नर प्रभु पर छोड़ै भारू। सदा जपे हरि नाम अपारू।। भगवत चरण सरन गहि रहई। सुख संपत्ति मोहि दीजै कहई।। जो कछु हित मोर कहहु रघुनाथा। सोइ करहु कृपा केहिं विधि साथा।। नाहिं और कछु माँगब तोही। तेहि सुख राखहु जेहि विधि मोही।। अर्थ (हिंदी में): परम स्वतंत्रता पाने का एक उत्तम उपाय यह है कि जिस भी ईश्वर या देवता की हम उपासना करते हैं, उन्हें कभी भी अपने अधीन करने का प्रयास न करें। मंत्रों में इतनी शक्ति होती है कि वे देवताओं को भी वश में कर सकते हैं, परंतु सच्चा भक्त कभी भी प्रभु को अपने अधीन नहीं करना चाहेगा और न ही करना चाहिए। जो व्यक्ति भगवान के चरणों का आश्रय लेकर, हरि-नाम का जाप करता है, वही सच्चे सुख को प्राप्त करता है। हमें प्रभु से बस यही प्रार्थना करनी चाहिए, कि हे प्रभु! जो मेरे लिए हितकर हो, वही कृपा करें। इसके अलावा कुछ भी नहीं माँगना चाहिए, क्योंकि भगवान स्वयं जानते हैं कि हमारे लिए क्या उचित है।
