Next, it’s Steelers @ Chiefs as Cousin Sal makes a first half bet because he doesn’t even want to have to watch the second half and Martin has his eye on a Travis Kelce bet, while Dave makes his case for the Black and Gold.
Then it’s over to the NFC as the guys break down Eagles @ Bucs, Cardinals @ Rams – as Kelly Stafford makes her plea to Rams fans and finally Cousin Sal’s Cowboys take on the 49ers. The guys close things out with their very Patriotic PUPs of the Week.

Dave is still riding the high of the Steelers making the playoffs and offers his apology to everyone who wanted to see Justin Herbert and the Chargers in the playoffs instead of Big Ben. The guys were impressed by Herbert’s performance but Martin thinks Brandon Staley should have been aggressive the entire time and gone for two at the end of the game.
The guys discuss Georgia’s win over Alabama in the National Championship and Stetson Bennett’s performance in the game and on Good Morning America. Dave and Martin still disagree on a pivotal fumble call. Dave was impressed by Nick Saban’s post-game actions. Arkansas linebacker and Extra Points NIL athlete Bumper Pool joins the show to make an announcement whether he’ll be returning to college or declaring for the NFL Draft. The guys talk to him about his decision, playing in the Outback Bowl and his huge hit on Sean Clifford and his thoughts on the upcoming National Championship game between Alabama and Georgia.
Then the Antonio Brown situation continues to get strangers the guys discuss who was to blame as well as his Hall of Fame chances. They take a ride on the Make-Believe Riverboat Casino to wonder what AB might do if he’s inducted into Canton.

Big Ben’s Heinz Field Farewell, Baker Mayfield Not in Cleveland, Antonio Brown One More Chance, College Football Playoff Flaws, Fans Frustrated by Dave’s Fruit of the Year
Dave says goodbye to Big Ben Roethlisberger who likely played in his final game at Heinz Field last night and wants to celebrate the Steelers once again recording a .500 or better season. Sal and Martin then snap him back to the reality of what a terrible game it was. The guys discuss yet another bad performance from Baker Mayfield and questionable coaching from Kevin Stefanski as the Browns regressed as a franchise. Plus, TJ Watt dominated and likely earned himself Defensive Player of the Year.
Sal, Dave, and Martin discuss the Steelers possible playoff scenario and the NFL’s scheduling problem, and a unique situation where the Raiders and Chargers could both get in with a tie. Then, they try to make sense of the Antonio Brown situation and if another team would sign him and take the chance he wouldn’t have another outburst.
Next, the guys get into an argument about the College Football Playoff and how many teams should get in as Sal believes the SEC has a much stronger schedule than any other conference in the NCAA. Plus, a preview of Georgia/Alabama.
Dave takes heat from fans over giving the Envy apple his coveted fruit of the year and Martin compares it to the College Football Playoff; the apple should have its own conference.

These two could have a gardening podcast and I’d listen to it. Charm and chemistry off the charts. Both pretty handsome fellas too, if you don’t mind me saying so.
Martin ruins show
Used to like to show decently well. Whoever Martin is he ruins the show. Sounds like he chains smokes at bars every night. Dave and Sal are pretty entertaining but Martin adds nothing and I have stopped listening to show.
