    Reversal Poetry

    Legacy

    Legacy are the things that our family has left behind. But, there is also a different angle as to how we can approach legacy: "to keep someone's legacy alive."   But why should we honor a loved one who has passed away, with no sight of their existence in our lives? After all, new memories overwrite past ones. Living beyond tragedy suggests accepting and allowing it to become a means to self-improvement, a means of transformative grief. After a tragedy, shall we only act in our life as a tribute to, in memory of?
