The DeFeo Family Murders (The Amityville Horror Story)

Re-release and audio remaster of episode 9 that originally aired 9/28/2022. Hi! I changed hosting platforms and several of my older episodes were deleted so I will be working through audio remastering and re releasing them over the next few months. This week we talk about the murders of the DeFeo family. Was this caused by a demon? Or was this done by the eldest child, Ronald DeFeo Jr.? Once George and Kathy Lutz moved into the house after the murders, they fled leaving everything behind 28 days later. Their story inspired what we know today as the Amityville Horror. 2. Chappaquiddick: The Night Ted Kennedy Left Mary Jo Kopechne Behind

Chappaquiddick: The Night Ted Kennedy Left Mary Jo Kopechne Behind

In 1969, Senator Ted Kennedy drove off a bridge on Chappaquiddick Island, leaving 28-year-old Mary Jo Kopechne trapped in a submerged car. He passed several houses, swam across the channel, and waited ten hours before telling anyone. By the time help showed up, she was gone, and the spin was already in motion. What followed wasn’t justice. It was damage control. For bonus content, ad-free and early episodes, archived episodes, a private Discord community, and more, subscribe to @fthatpod on Patreon!
