What initially started as an harmless escape for her difficulties soon spiraled into a full-blown addiction. As the well-intended parents struggled to fullfill the dream of a happy home, Vanessa found herself increasingly dependent on drugs to numb the stress and conflict in her life. But as her habit grew, so did the strain on their family.  Following the ending of their relationship, Vanessa's addiction real took a turn for the worse.
