Debunking myths about HPV vaccine with Dr. Paul Offit
There are some parents who do not believe their child should get the HPV vaccine. Their reasons differ, but as an example some parents object to vaccinating their 11 YO (recommended timing for vaccination) because HPV is spread through sexual contact and their child is not currently sexually active. We will discuss with an expert in the field, Dr. Paul Offit, reasons for vaccinating against HPV, following the recommended timing and dosing, and debunking circulating myths.
