However, these books can be read as standalones, and we are choosing to do so by stopping with Bride. At the beginning of this episode we spoke about the content/trigger warnings, and to help our lovely listeners, we will list them here as well. CONTENT/TRIGGER WARNINGS: * Death of several people within the context of a war between different species (vampires, werewolves, and humans) is mentioned * Several mentions of blood * Kidnapping * Mild violence * Poisoning and attempted murder * Attempted kidnapping/harming of a child (she is unharmed) * Death of a parent (off page, occuring in the past) * Explicit and graphic sexual content * Knotting (the MMC's apparatus is not quite human?) * Cursing and vulgar language These warnings are all sourced from author Ali Hazelwood's wesbite alihazelwood.com Bride written by Ali Hazelwood can be read on Kindle Unlimited, and listened to as an audiobook through platforms such as Spotify, Hoopla, and Libby. Shout out to Ali Hazelwood for writing this book, we wouldn't have this episode without you! It was a good read, and a nice break from the heavy stuff we just finished podcasting about.
