Fair Point
Jesse Horowitz, Davis Gorman, and Mattias Gitron-Beer
In the age of algorithms and digital echo chambers, we feel the need to outperform others in conversations, even if it comes at the expense of our friendships and relationships. To combat this, on Fair Point, we speak with educators, scholars, and leaders who think deeply about democratic values and public dialogue. We focus on the reasoning that thinkers use to arrive at their conclusions rather than the conclusions themselves. We don’t aim to indoctrinate. We aim to model what thoughtful conversation can look like because discourse is not only a civic responsibility, but a path towards mutual understanding and inner peace.
