These gentleman asked for a review to surpass the century mark. I hope this helps. This show is what makes Podcast’s such a great tool to expanding one’s knowledge. I appreciate the unpretentiousness of the hosts when it comes to their combined knowledge on each shows subject. There seems to be no pretense in the conversations between the two. Common talk about uncommon topics. Blue collar scholars!

I like these guys but I don’t listen all that often because their conservative politics always seems to come through which I’m sure does not concern them or most of the other listeners much at all. They asked for reviews in the last show though so here’s mine. Thanks

These guys are very knowledgeable and offer some great takes on Christian apologetics. I was looking for resources to deepen my understanding of my faith and how to defend it well, and these guys have been very helpful and informative.

Alexander makes a profound and poignant point over and over. That will resonate to all people. He points directly at the anthropomorphism beginning in the Renaissance of enlightenment as a pivotal point to when the western world turned to humans (recreating or re-emphasizing of Adam’s sin ) and adopting the self centered belief that men can and will by their own means or power create a perfect family, community , society and world. This belief is permeated much (if not most) of humanity and their culture and turned us against our only source of Goodness and Hope for mankind. Our leaders, media (both entertainment and news), our focus and course away from the only source of light to darkness. He only comes short in that he does not come out and expressly say that only by changing to a Christopomorphic (Jesus Christ centered) view can we as individuals and as a society be saved. We need to return (or repent) and face the light. But we lack courage as a nation and as a society to do so. But individually and as a family , we still can find the courage through Jesus Christ to resist the darkness and live in the light of His great love and mercy. Alexander failed to give us the Gospel news of Christ to the church but he came close and pointed to a true salvation of mankind. He makes many courageous and faithful and reasonable points that we all should know but fail to acknowledge (due to our great sin) and hope that anyone who reads this will turn from the darkness to the light of Christ.
