Kathy Escobar has had a profound impact on my life. Her book Faith Shift companioned me through some difficult waters. I was delighted to see her come out with a new book in February which probably couldn’t have been worse timing for a book release. But on the other hand, her...

Michelle Van Loon, somewhat of a podcast regular, joins me this week to talk about her latest release, Becoming Sage: Cultivating Meaning, Purpose, and Spirituality in Midlife. Why do so many remain in early stages of faith development? And what does it look like to move forward on the spiritual continuum. We discuss all that on this week's podcast. Faithful through Change

I believe you don’t get to host a podcast with over 200 episodes, without being faithful! I have followed Anita for many years from Moody Radio’s Midday Connection. The program was challenging, informative and it gave energy to it’s faithful listeners. The greatest gift it gave to the female audience was...a voice. Anita, Melinda and Lori along with a plethora of guests brought strength and the safety to those who wanted to grow and move forward in their personal life as well as their spiritual life. There was a huge sadness and void in many hearts when the program...shall we say ended. What didn’t end was the calling on Anita’s life for continuing the conversation. Grateful for her faithfulness to her listening audience to continue creating a place where we can grow and even challenge why we believe what we do. Anita has also been my Spiritual Director for the last 8 months. Her voice in my life has remained a constant! It still makes me smile when every now and then I hear Melinda Schmidt chatting it up with Anita😀Faith Conversations is a comforting place to land!

Conversations in my car

It seems that drive a lot - and usually I’m alone. So whenever I want company in my car I click on Anita’s Faith Conversations and suddenly I am part of a fascinating conversation! Anita has a real gift for interviewing and posing the most interesting questions that result in a meaningful dialogue with her guests. Always very thought provoking and most topics are fresh and new to me. I often find myself saying (to myself in the car) “I have never really thought about this!” And my world opens up just a bit more.
