Pastor Sully Curtin shares the various ways we think about Calling and how
we can rightly understand what it means to seek God’s will for things like
career decisions.

Malissa Mackey shared 3 big factors that keep us from talking about our
faith in the workplace 1) Legal or HR ramifications, 2) Fear of what people
might think or of being offensive 3) Uncertainty about what to say or how
to say it⁠. We talked about how to walk in wisdom and faith so that we
don't put up a stumbling block to the Good News of Jesus Christ.⁠

Ben Nussbaum helped us consider 3 "fallacies" when considering a job transition - the "neon sign" fallacy, the "captain of my fate" fallacy, and the "solve my problem" fallacy. As well as helping us see 3 characteristics to embody when leaving a job: patience, wisdom, and honor.

How do we honor the Lord with our finances? How much is too much? How many
decisions should we make based on money? Is ambition a good or a bad thing?
 We heard some sound Biblical principles from VP of Sales at On Center, Ben
Nussbaum, and Financial Advisor, Daniel Westergaard.
