Driven by a passion for leading, teaching, learning, and data-informed decision-making, Dr. Johnson empowers educators and educational leaders through coaching, professional development, and insightful analysis of both quantitative and qualitative data. Her academic, scholarly research interests include transformative leadership, remote leadership, grief in the workplace, cultural competency, social-emotional learning, organizational change, and post-traumatic growth syndrome. Throughout her career, Dr. Johnson has served others in various leadership and instructional roles, including educational consultant, higher education people leader, principal, assistant principal, lead teacher, instructional coach, corporate trainer, and competency restoration trainer. She is a certified trainer in both Differentiated Instruction and Classroom Management. She is also a coach specializing in leadership development and personal or professional growth. Notable accomplishments from her career include being a National Institute of School Leadership Executive Development Alum, an Outstanding Metro Area Teacher, securing funding for schoolwide improvement initiatives, increasing teacher retention, transforming school culture, and improving academic achievement.Dr. Johnson earned her Ph.D. and Ed.S. degrees from the University of Southern Mississippi and her M.Ed. and B.S.E. degrees from Delta State University. She lives in Mississippi, with her husband and is the proud mother of three children and one fur baby. She is a CrossFit athlete, forensic science enthusiast, fashionista, foodie, book lover, nature lover, traveler, serial optimist, and relentless problem solver.
