Fangs for Listening

While looking for another horror podcast, I found these delightful ladies. Love a good vampire movie/book and I love to hear them discussed intelligently, with humor and insight. I got both here. Can’t wait for more content. If you’re looking for more movies to watch, one of my favorites is the original Fright Night, 1985. It’s a lot of fun and is appropriately scary.

All the vampire pop-culture discourse your undead heart desires! This show goes further than just “hey this was a movie I liked for these reasons”. The Finkel sisters go in depth into the history of vampire lore and representation in movies and TV and your English professors would weep tears of joy over their dissection of symbolism, creative writing, and history in literature and culture. My only complaint is I need more! 😭

I’m always looking forward to the next episode of this podcast to laugh and learn along with Didi and Rena! You’ll feel like you’re right in the room with them as they take you on a ride through the best and worst of vampire media. Can’t recommend enough!

Full disclosure: not a Goth and only peripherally vampire-philic. Nonetheless, Fangs for Listening has become my absolute favourite podcast. The production quality is top-notch and the Finkel sisters have undeniable wit, eloquence, and chemistry. FfL makes every drive feel like an intimate roadtrip with your best, smartest friends who will always be funnier than you.
