Years ago, I worked a job overnight resupplying shoprite stock. When I think back to grueling job stocking shelves in shoprite from 11pm to 6am, I’m always brought back to that time not in disgust, but reverence of all the adventures I’d listened to again and again within Daranos and Orcspire. Headphones in, walking up and down the aisles with tears of hilarity on my cheeks at the adventures of Throm, Buffcat, Ugla, Sid, Jimmy Treebranch, and more. I’ve admittedly been trying to get a show off the ground for years and I believe this year is the one I’m finally gonna start. I’m thankful for the laughs and insight Josh and Dom have given through the conceptual premise of this show. Sure it seems like “hey goofy stories with a fantasy theme” but it was and is so much more than that. It’s a legitimate adventure that inspires people to do so much more and really flex the creative muscles we know we have. So again I thank Josh and Dom for putting in the effort they did with this podcast. I truly hope there’s still a level of friendship and reconciliation between you two as part of the Continue? Family, but as a fan that is none of my business. I’m here for the show and the show was an absolute banger. Fantasy Fiction will be among the inspirations that I name once my podcast is up, running, and hopefully listened to by people with the same reverence I have for you.
