My Sister's Cancer

I just started listiening to your podcast and I just wanted to say thank you SO MUCH to both of you for sharing your experiences and reflections. Hearing both of your thoughts and responses has really helped me to understand how we all grieve in different ways and how it's not about me teaching others to approach it like I do but rather to show up for each other where they are at. This podcast has provided me with so much peace just understanding more about the cancer experience which is so helpful as I am now a caregiver to my adolescent son with cancer. Thank you both so so so much!

This is a good podcast as long as you know you’re listening to “amateurs “ in the pure sense of that word. (As Olympic athletes are amateurs). Like hearing the cancer experiences of members of your extended family. They don’t pretend to have clinical expertise. They are a warm and caring part of the “cancer community “ of which I too am a part.

This show is helpful for anyone - regardless of whether or not cancer has specifically affected you or your loved ones. Really, this show talks about loss, grief, and thoughtful presence for you or loved ones going through a difficult period. Given that everyone will face challenges - being willing to listen to the in-depth reflections from these sisters can help uncover layers of difficulty and emotional experience. This feels like a master class for humans on how to be thoughtful and present with yourself and others in the midst of difficulty.

This podcast has such honest, thought filled perspectives for those going through tough times. It’s also helpful for those walking alongside them. I learn something from each episode that I can then ruminate about going forward. I never miss an episode!
