This had potential to be a really awesome podcast. They cover some really cool topics. It’s just hard to listen to. Some of the topics covered I have done research into, they get some great info out there and subjectively editorialize it. They seem to take really complicated topics concentrate it down (which I get it’s not a deep dive) and then make assumptions (sometimes false, or misunderstood) on the rendered down coverage, then make sweeping and simple generalizations on topics that are far more nuanced and complicated. The problem is, in a historical podcast prime will take what you say as be all end all in history. You definitely insert presentism too much in your opinions. The other thing I think that makes this hard to listen to is it so much the banter, I certainly appreciate that people will like this, and there is some great content and topics so people should, and when they like podcasters they like to here banter from them. It’s just the talking over each other. It makes it really hard for the listener, it’s like sensory overload. I say this part sort of kidding. It’s like you need a sharing stick to determine who is going to talk. I don’t say any of this to be harsh, just my opinion. This podcast has sooo much potential and I’d love to see it do better!
