    Fave Five Podcast 16 - Peter Krentz

    When he was captain of the volleyball team his senior year of college, Yale won the Eastern Collegiate Volleyball League and got to play in the Final Four at UCLA’s Pauley Pavilion. Peter in his own words (from his Davidson profile): I can see pretty clearly that my love of classics and ancient history started with and has been regularly reinforced by travel in the Mediterranean world. When I was ten years old, my family climbed into a VW minibus for a two-month trip starting in Germany. We drove across the Alps and down Italy, took a ferry to Greece, drove from Greece to Turkey, getting as far south as Miletus before returning to Germany, where my father was spending a sabbatical in Tübingen. I was hooked.     Fave Five Podcast 15 - Kim Glover

    Kim Glover (her last name rhymes with “clover”) is Director of Employee Communications & Change Management at TechnipFMC, where she leads enterprise programs that make work clearer and culture stronger—integrating change strategy, internal comms, digital platforms, expert networks, and social learning. We have both attended the annual KMWorld Conference for many years, and in November 2025 we presented together for the first time. Kim in her own words (from her blog): I’m easy to describe – a middle-aged renaissance person with a deep love for family, a myriad of interests and a love of the written word. I’ve got a very interesting corporate job running knowledge management for a global company, and this blog is one of my happiness hobbies.     Fave Five Podcast 14 - Jeri Johnson

    I met Jeri in 1997 when our sons were on a travel baseball team together. Barb and I became good friends with Jeri and her husband Kyle. They have both been of great help to us over the years, and we have enjoyed traveling, dining, playing, laughing, talking, and just hanging out with them. Jeri has a multitude of friends and is my counterpart in organizing and hosting social events. Jeri told me that she has been working on her humility and that so far, she is doing great.     I met Don on the Cayamo music cruise in 2012. We have enjoyed seeing music, collaborated on hosting house concerts, and traveled together in Italy. In addition to listening to and playing music, Don loves camping, fishing, and spending time with his family. Originally from Battle Creek, Michigan, he now lives in Roseville, Minnesota, a suburb of the Twin Cities. Don is a prolific poster on social media.     Walker Bennett Hayes Jr. started college at Vanderbilt, graduated from Colorado, and earned his MBA from Michigan. He worked in the IT services industry for many years, specializing in software sales. Buzz later owned his own company in the vending machine industry. He ran cross country and played basketball and baseball at Clayton High School in Missouri. He played baseball at Vanderbilt.
