Kept waiting for something new or valuable but it’s all the same stuff you hear on other podcasts repeated again and again

Full of cliche aphorisms. It feels like the host is reading the quotes off of “inspirational” Instagram feed. Also, I’m not sure what her qualifications are—she makes a lot of noise about psychology and marketing but I’m not sure there’s any research there to back up what she’s saying.

I wasn't sure if this podcast was going to bring anything new to the table. But I decided 40 minutes wasn't a big investment, so I listened on my way to work. Yup...I was wrong! The first episode I listened to taught me how to discover what motivates me (based on psychology), an activity to help me gain more courage each day, and a few things to avoid when starting a business. Sure, there was some general encouragement, but it all felt genuine. Plus, Jess seemed to make the guest feel comfortable and welcome. There seems to be a lot of trolls with big vocaublaries in these reviews ;) , so I encouage you to judge for yourself.

As a woman who gets way too caught up in what other people think and seeking everyone else’s approval, I found a lot of value in this podcast. I’ve only listened to 3 episodes and I’ve already received actionable advice and been inspired by Jess’s stories. Looking forward to seeing what else she has up her sleeve!
