Hi, my name is Aubree Adams. Colorado's marijuana harmed my family. I and other families who have had loved ones severely harmed or who died by the effects of marijuana developed the Every Brain Matters community. We educate about the health and environmental dangers of marijuana and the drug culture expansion by providing support for families and advocacy based on lived experiences and science. The public is being deceived regarding industrialized marijuana products and their effects, like cannabis use disorder, cannabis-induced psychosis, and cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome, which has led to a public health crisis. No matter how much the drug culture expands, we will “Keep On Keepin On” because we wholeheartedly know that Every Brain Matters.

Marijuana Poisoning Was Killing Our Son -Cannabinoid Hyperemesis Syndrome (CHS)

Marijuana Poisoning Was Killing Our Son -Cannabinoid Hyperemesis Syndrome (CHS)

Listen to Sergio and Gladys Longoria describe how marijuana was killing their son.

Today's more potent industrialized marijuana products are toxic and poisoning consumers. The endocannabinoid system (ECS) system is becoming overloaded with the chemicals or cannabinoids from the marijuana plant, including CBD and THC, resulting in a syndrome called CHS, Cannabinoid Hyperemesis Syndrome.
Cannabinoid = chemicals from the marijuana plant
Hyperemesis = increased vomiting or excessive vomiting
Syndrome = diagnosis is done by symptoms and not a direct medical test.

    To learn more about CHS.

Use this pamphlet to educate your family, the medical community, and schools about CHS.

Please donate to support our efforts to educate the public about CHS.

    My Son Had Cannabis-Induced Psychosis

    My Son Had Cannabis-Induced Psychosis

A father describes how he thought the legalization of marijuana was a good thing until he learned about concentrated THC products designed to attract young users like his son, who developed cannabis-induced psychosis.

The expansion of marijuana and other drugs has overwhelmed our communities and become a regular part of our culture. This new age of industrialized THC allows predatory practices and well-funded campaigns to target vulnerable populations with minimal accountability. Our neighborhoods and schools are becoming unsafe. Families are under-educated and have minimal tools and resources to prevent, manage, or recover from the impacts of cannabis addiction, psychosis, toxicity, and other mental challenges that come from using these products. Our legislators consistently hear from drug advocates and lobbyists, and they do not hear enough from us.

Thank you for the truth

Our 18 yr old daughter started exhibiting symptoms of psychosis about 2 yrs ago when she starting smoking weed and accused her best friend of using dark psychic powers against her. We took her to several professionals, all who told told her to stop using and start meds or things could get much worse for her. She refused and started hiding cannabis use and symptoms from us. When she turned 18, she suddenly started making crazy accusations against us. Saying she was unsafe, she left the house and is out there using who knows what, seriously mentally ill and apparently living in a hotel with God knows who. Doctors told us “this is not the marijuana of the 1980s” and place much of the blame for her psychosis on continued use. This has devastated our family- us, aunts, uncles, grandparents, her friends. I pray she makes it back to us somehow. I’m glad these heartbreaking stories are coming out so people know the danger.

Poorly Researched and One Sided Podcast

This podcast has one and only one belief, that all cannabis and it’s users are bad. This is not based on any truly logical order, and lacks hard scientific evidence with fearmongering claims not based on real data within the last 7 years from large independent studies. It is unbalanced and flat out wrong with no credibility whatsoever, no peer reviewed articles, it’s just a plain old political podcast that hates on weed and its users and broadly and unjustifiably neglects and ignores evidence about safe cannabis use, focused largely on child and road safety and claiming that cannabis use WILL, not might, cause psychosis or an accident, even though such evidence is severely lacking in the scientific community and doesn’t truly support these claims. This is nothing but a hate weed campaign based on false expectations and false equivalence and false assumptions.
