    In this episode Mikella and Phoebe interview Lisa Guenther, a professor at Queen’s University in Critical Prison Studies. We talk about prison abolition, Lisa’s experiences working with men on death row, and the complexities of restorative justice and sexual violence. At Queen’s, Lisa runs the Walls to Bridges program, a for-credit course where university students join incarcerated students in Collins Bay Institution to learn about restorative justice.

    Pete Brown is the National Program Manager at 7th Step Society Canada, a program designed to help offenders and ex-offenders change their behaviour and attitudes using a basic self-help philosophy. Its fundamental principles are realistic thinking and positive peer pressure.
