#72 The Psychology of Astrology: Eclipses, Ego, and Choosing Yourself in Leo Season

Send us Fan Mail Welcome back to another beautifully potent episode of The Psychology of Astrology! In this deeply personal and heart-led conversation, Kalpna Tandon and I dive into the transformative, fiery energy of Leo season and the profound void of the solar eclipse. We explore what it truly means to shift from a disempowered, victim mindset into a fully empowered, authentic state of being.  When the lights go out and the external world fades away, who are you in the dark?  In this episode, we illuminate: The Magic of the Eclipse: How this cosmic event acts as fertile soil for new beginnings and abrupt, necessary endings. Shedding the Mask: Releasing ego-driven desires, the need for external validation, and the "pick-me" energy. Healing the Wounded Masculine: Breaking cycles of self-abandonment and learning what it means to fiercely choose yourself. True Depth vs. Complicated Chaos: Why we often confuse chaotic, multi-layered relationships with true depth and connection. Leading with the Heart: Trusting your inner knowing and remembering that the best things in life are slow-moving. We share very intimate stories about navigating relationship crossroads, ending karmic cycles, and realizing that sometimes walking away is the most loving thing you can do for everyone involved. Step into your sovereign energy and remember to always meet the world heart first, head second.  To continue this journey and dive deeper into grounded astrological guidance, visit www.josephinemcgrail.com. #71 Harvest Season & Soul Lessons: The Plum Tree Principle, Letting Go, and Stepping into the Eclipse

Send us Fan Mail Hello, dear listeners! Sometimes the universe clears our schedules to create exactly the space we need, which is why today’s episode is an intimate, grounding one-on-one session. As we reach the height and end of summer, we are entering the powerful, cyclical season of the harvest. With the August 12th eclipse just around the corner, cosmic shifts are actively asking us to clear out what has reached its full potential.  In this episode, we sit down to rest, reflect, and do an energetic check-in to help you find peace and ease. Through a beautiful visualization involving my great-grandmother's plum tree, we explore what it means to gracefully release our heavy, ripened fruits back into the earth. Letting go is not about failing; it is a sign that you are right on time and ready to create a space of pure potentiality.  In this episode, we explore: The Energy of the Harvest: Recognizing when a relationship, thought pattern, or chapter has reached its natural conclusion and completion. The Plum Tree Visualization: A guided, grounding practice to help you surrender the heavy fruits of your labor back to the earth with deep gratitude. The Universal Law of Giving and Receiving: Understanding that everything in this life is on loan, and how gifting things back creates energetic balance. Navigating the Eclipse: How to harness the transformative energy of the upcoming eclipse to step into your next phase with grace. Calling in the New: Journaling prompts to help you intentionally replace your released fears with excitement, wonder, and joy. Life loves living for you, and whatever phase you are in is happening for you, not to you. Pour yourself a hot tea, settle in, and let's honor the ritual of the harvest together.  To dive deeper into your cosmic and energetic journey, or to connect further, visit www.josephinemcgrail.com. Send us Fan Mail Christine Moseley is the founder of Full Harvest AI, the B2B agentic solution for the food supply chain. Over the past decade, she raised $50M in venture capital and scaled the company to over $100M in cumulative revenue, helping reduce on-farm food waste at a meaningful scale. She recently transitioned to the board after 10 years as CEO to pursue her next passion of helping women scale their businesses and health.  An entrepreneur since age 17, she first started a music education non-profit, Musical Empowerment, which is still growing nationally almost 25 years later.  She began her career at Maersk and Procter & Gamble, building a foundation in global operations and marketing. Some of her accolades include being recognized as an Inc. Top 100 Female Founder, EY Entrepreneur of the Year finalist, and WEF Tech Pioneer. #69 What the F* Are We All Doing? Ibraheem Toure on Soul Contracts, Breath & What Truly Matters

Send us Fan Mail Today’s conversation is an absolute energetic shower of goodness, exploring the karmic threads, cosmic timing, and generational healing that shape our human experience. My guest today is the deeply radiant Ibraheem Toure, an actor, theatre practitioner, who works across stage and television with organizations like the Royal Shakespeare Company and Apple TV. Born on the threshold of the millennium in 1999, Ibraheem carries a spiritual resonance and wisdom that stretches far beyond his physical years. Together, we unpack his fascinating journey, looking at his timeline through the numerological power of seven-year cycles. From navigating a beautifully diverse upbringing in West London to stepping into his personal power during a transformative six-week trip to Trinidad with his 94-year-old grandfather, Ibraheem shares how he embraces being a bridge between worlds.  We dive into the energetic vessel of the artist, the profound weight of grief, and why every single morning we wake from the "cousin of death" is an absolute miracle. Ibraheem beautifully reminds us that our souls make contracts before arriving here, and that the only true response to the absurdity of reality is the grounding frequency of gratitude.  Cosmic Alignments & Key Themes We Explore: The Blueprint of Sevens: How Ibraheem tracks his life’s profound shifts and spiritual evolution in distinct seven-year chapters based on Islamic teachings. Generational Karma & Ancestral Roots: The unspoken power of family systems, unpacking the dynamics of his parents, and the sacred ritual of returning to his roots in Trinidad. Divine Timing: The miraculous alignment of booking his biggest television job just as he intentionally carved out space to live and work alongside his grandfather. The Art of Truth: Viewing performance not as a performative mask, but as a deeply honest channel to let the universe's energy flow through your physical vessel. Grief and Soul Contracts: Processing the tragic loss of his 32-year-old best friend, honoring his departed spirit, and understanding that our days on Earth are beautifully limited. Two Pillars of Human Wisdom: Ibraheem's profound soul messages for humanity to constantly anchor into the present: "breathe deeply" and "celebrate more". To dive deeper into ancestral healing, energy work, and understanding your own cosmic blueprint, please visit my digital home at www.josephinemcgrail.com. Be sure to subscribe and tune in for part two, where we will journey deeper into the powerful female lineage of Ibrahim's family system! #67 Emmy Award winning Lexi Ainsworth-"Fall in Love with your Future more than the Comfort of your Past"

Send us Fan Mail What happens when the path to your biggest dream requires you to step into absolute uncertainty?  In this powerful and deeply moving episode, I sit down with Emmy Award-winning actress and founder of Camden Way Productions, Lexi Ainsworth. From starting as a driven child actor at just 11 years old to navigating the high-pressure world of a 510-episode TV series, Lexi’s journey is a masterclass in resilience, grit, and unwavering dedication.  But behind the glitz of Hollywood contracts lay a parallel story that anyone chasing a dream will recognize:  The Weight of Sacrifice: Navigating the intense guilt and pressure of family sacrifices made to support her passion. Confronting the Hidden Hurdles: Managing lifelong ADHD, navigating learning differences, and facing sudden, intense panic attacks when pivoting into new chapters. Surviving the Rejections: Weathering the inevitable dry spells, sudden industry shifts, and a painful five-year relationship breakup that brought her pillars crashing down all at once. Lexi opens up about her transformative decision to pack a single bag for a six-month backpacking journey, secure a global talent visa to move to London, and audaciously apply to UC Berkeley—proving to herself that her identity is defined by who she is, not just what she produces.  This conversation is a rallying cry for the dreamers, the freelancers, and anyone standing at a terrifying crossroads in life.
