This podcast changed my life

As a menopausal woman, I had heard from friends that hormones could help with so many of the annoyances that everyone’s familiar with: hot flashes, brain fog, weight gain, to name a few. But I wasn’t aware of the cardiovascular risks, the dementia risks and bone health detriments that come naturally due to loss of female hormones. I had no idea testosterone could improve a diminished sex drive. I was not aware of the studies that changed how we view breast cancer risks when taking hormones.

After listening to several of the podcasts on menopause on here, I felt educated enough to find a doctor willing to work with me and I am now on HRT and telling all of my friends what I’ve learned.

Engaging and informative for all audiences

FemPower Health provides up-to-date information about the latest developments in women’s health and well-being. Medicine and healthcare have become too vast and complex for any single provider to manage: patients must work with their providers as a team, with both members providing insight and knowledge. This show empowers listeners to do just that: to show up as active, informed participants in their health journeys. Kudos to Georgie and her guests on creating great content!

Evidence based information ,

Smart, evidence-based information

Really interesting and evidence-based approach to topics in women’s health. It’s refreshing and educational to hear actual information with a scientific basis as opposed to more myths, or “this worked for me” stories. I feel informed and empowered after listening. Highly recommend
