Back when this film first came out, it was acclaimed as an instant horror classic, but here in the heart of the horror renaissance, we look back through a different lens. Does the story hold up with the same questionable resonance as the special effects, or is this tale of mob mentality, morality, and isolation as timeless as its irrefutably impactful ending?
