    My Favorite Show

Hopewell Valley Student Podcasting Network Show Name: Fictional FeelsEpisode #5: My Favorite ShowIn today’s episode, I’m going to be talking about one of my all time favorite shows, Terror in Resonance.  You are listening to Fictional Feels the podcast with your host(s) Tatianna. In this episode of Fictional Feels the Podcast we discuss: Why I love the show Terror in Resonance. Segment 1: Short Spoiler Free SummaryThis anime is about two high school boys, Twelve and Nine, who attack Tokyo by bombing different buildings. Along the way an average high school girl, Lisa, gets involved with their plans. This story is very action packed and a bit devastating.  Segment 2:  The SoundtrackI love the soundtrack of this show because it is able to add importance to the plot of the show. The songs are great to do homework to or cry to :).The overall mood fits the melancholic atmosphere the show creates.  Segment 3:  Scenes (Spoilers)The motorcycle scene where Twelve picks up Lisa as they are being chased by the cops. Their relationship makes me so jealous and the music fit perfectly to the scene. The ferris wheel scene where Twelve must choose between saving Lisa or betraying his childhood friend and everything that they have achieved up to that point. I really enjoyed Lisa as a character because she was very realistic. She was completely average and useless to the boys, but they still kept her around and loved her.  Music Credits:  Stardust- Jay Someday Cruising- Vendredi Hope for Tomorrow- Tokyo Music Walker Subscribe to our PodcastApple PodcastsSpotifyGoogle Podcasts  Stitcher  YouTube     Connect with us on Social Media@theHVSPN

    Wholesome Feels

Hopewell Valley Student Podcasting Network  Show Name: Fictional Feels Episode #4: Wholesome Feels In today’s episode, we are going to be differing from the norm by discussing some more lighthearted topics. I’m going to be talking about shows that give me so much joy, Soul Eater, Love is War, Blue Exorcist, Forest of Fireflies, Penguin Highway, and Howl’s Moving Castle.  You are listening to Fictional Feels the podcast with your host(s) Tatianna. In this episode of Fictional Feels the Podcast we discuss: Shows, movies, and characters that make me happy.  Segment 1: Characters That Give Me Joy-Rin Okumura (Blue Exorcist)- He’s super wholesome and spends the entirety of the show trying to prove he’s a good guy.  -Yu Ishigami (Love is War)- I found him to be really relatable and his character development made me sob, in a good way of course. Segment 2:  Movies That Give Me Joy-Forest of the Fireflies- This movie is actually quite sad, but the relationship between the two characters makes me believe in love.  -Penguin Highway- An actually stunning movie and who doesn’t love cute penguins? -Howl’s Moving Castle- This movie is my one reason for living. I've seen this movie ever since I was a kid and Howl will forever have my heart.  Segment 3:  Shows That Give Me Joy-Soul Eater- Everything about this show makes me happy. Although the ending of the anime was awful, I really enjoyed this show, especially everything about Corona. Depression

Hopewell Valley Student Podcasting Network Show Name: Fictional FeelsEpisode 3: DepressionTweet to be shared on the network’s twitter handle: Go check out Fictional Feel’s third episode where we get into my favorite show to watch when I’m depressed, Mushishi.  You are listening to Fictional Feels the podcast with your host Tatianna. Segment 1: Spoiler and Trigger Warnings-Trigger warnings for depression and anxiety.  -Spoiler warnings for Mushishi. Segment 2:  Mushishi as a Whole-Mushishi has a ton of really cool visuals and concepts. -The show has that old feeling to it because it came out a while ago, but is still somewhat popular today.  -Majority of Mushishi’s episodes appear to be happy and lighthearted, but if you really look at it a lot of things are really sad.  Segment 3:  The FeelsI like watching it when I’m upset because it makes me feel calmer and content. It doesn’t make my feelings go away but it lets me sit with them while being distracted.I’m a sucker for sad shows and I like the way this one presents itself. I think what influences our favorite shows, anime in particular, is the point in our lives when we first saw them. When we choose our favorite shows it's often because we connect with the message they portray. I probably wouldn’t have enjoyed this show as much as I did if I was happy when I watched it. Found Families

Hopewell Valley Student Podcasting Network Show Name: Fictional FeelsEpisode 2: Found FamiliesGo check out Fictional Feel’s second episode where we will be discussing the found family trope along with Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo.  You are listening to Fictional Feels the podcast with your host(s) Tatianna. In this episode of Fictional Feels the Podcast we discuss: Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo. Segment 1: Spoiler and Trigger Warnings-Trigger warnings for depression and anxiety.  -Spoiler warnings for Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo. Segment 2: Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo-The characters all have these intricate lives and they somehow ended up together on the ship. -It doesn’t make sense to me why they would want to go their separate ways after seemingly enjoying each other's company.  -It’s hard to move forward if you're stuck in the same place.  -The trio in Samurai Champloo seemed to complete each other, so why would they possibly break up? -Similar to Cowboy Bebop, they seemed to have a great time together.  Segment 3: The FeelsIf I ever had what they had I would never want to let it go.I was nervous about my family branching out because I was afraid we would never speak again since my family isn’t close.People and things don’t stay in your life forever, at some point we all have to move on. Learn to cherish what you have now because it will be gone before you know it.  Music Credits:  Stardust- Jay SomedayCruising- VendrediHope for Tomorrow- Tokyo Music Walker Subscribe to our PodcastApple PodcastsSpotifyGoogle Podcasts  Stitcher  YouTube     Connect with us on Social Media@theHVSPN
