Betsy is a middle school science teacher at Summit Trail Middle School in Olathe Kansas, a Kansas Department of Education Field Educator, a past president of KATS and recent graduate of the University of Kansas… with lots to talk about.

    During this epiode we meet Neil Lundgren an elementary Science Specialist for the Garden City School District. Neil and Meg discuss what makes elementary science critical and why utilizing collboartions at the district, state and national level have had such an impact on his classes. Robert will share with us some of the ways that he helps to establish a positive culture for classroom sense-making as well as ways that teachers can benefit from being involved with their state professional organizations.
