On Halloween Night in 2004, three beautiful 27-year-old roommates who lived in the beautiful little wine town of Napa California were victims of a brutal home invasion. Leslie Mazzara and Adriana Insogna were viciously stabbed in the upstairs bedroom as Lauren Meanza was able to escape with the help of her dog.

But thanks to the quick thinking of a dedicated doctor, the mysterious "illness" was solved and was literally brought back from the brink of death. Sadly, she also discovered WHO was trying to kill her and it was the last person she would have suspected.

Lover of true crime here!
I love this podcast! I’m a “Morbid” and a “Crime Junkie” regular and these ladies need to be added to your true crime rotation! I love that they focus on survivors, too. I listened to the Turpin episodes after watching the 2020 special. Fantastic!
Such a great podcast!
I am super picky about podcasts in this format of two people talking true crime. I find most of them very annoying. This one is perfect! This mother daughter duo is just completely earnest and natural. There’s no effort to be funny or edgy, they’re just being themselves. And their chemistry is so lovely and will make you want to try to get Sarah to adopt you! And they’re both naturally funny, not comedian style funny but just like observations here and there that will make you chuckle. This is my new favorite, I’ve listened to 6 episodes in the last 24 hours.
