    Turning setbacks into success with Alex Wallace

    Striving to compete for team GB all of her childhood left Alex feeling completely lost when self confidence got the better of her during the team selection tryouts. From there, Alex struggled more than ever through her biggest setback, until realising that positive sporting role models could be the key to every child’s success. Soon after, she founded the Mintridge Foundation, a charity that promotes an active lifestyle and positive mental health for children and young people and to harness the power of sporting role models to help and influence young people. Since then, her success has been recognised countless times, praised for the unique offering and profound benefits- that all began during a very challenging time.
