Have you ever had a difficult time finding your fire or drive to pursue your passion? Or maybe you’ve found that drive and wondered how to logistically go about pursuing that dream? The finding fire podcast is meant to motivate, inspire, and give you the direction through interviews and consultations with professionals at the top of their game, that were once in the same boat as you. Here’s the cool thing about it all, we are average guys. We’ve been in the trenches of day to day rigamarole, each of us still are and we’ve also pushed ourselves to invest in our own futures. We like to have fun and have a bonded friendship that allows for a symbiotic relationship. The thing we like the best is that we bring something different to the table to craft a well diversified conversational interview with our guests.

Loving the Process - With Grant Hauschild

Loving the Process - With Grant Hauschild

On this episode of the Finding Fire Podcast, we had the privilege of visiting with Minnesota State Senate District 3 Candidate Grant Hauschild. Politics may seem like something daunting for most, but ever since the age of fourteen Grant has been pursuing  politics in hopes to make a change for the better. The most inspiring thing that stood out to us is how happy Grant is pursuing his passion and loving the process.

We talked about Grant's path into politics and how he has gravitated to being an involved leader within the community. Grant brings a wide range of experience at the federal, state, and local level. From his time working in rural economic development for the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), to his time serving as a labor policy aide to U.S. Senator Heidi Heitkamp.

As Grant is currently running for state senate, he also serves as the Executive Director of the Essentia Health Foundation and Hermantown City Councilor.

Being Decisive and Taking Action - with Jordan Syatt

Being Decisive and Taking Action - with Jordan Syatt

One year ago we came across an Instagram post from Jordan Syatt,  inviting people to DM him for a chance to have him as a guest on your podcast. We took our shot on a whim and messaged him... little did we know that he was booked out an entire year.  That opportunity was well worth the wait, as Jordan dropped a ton of value for us and our listeners to take away and apply to everyday life.

Jordan is a strength and nutrition coach (formerly Gary Vaynerchuk’s trainer), and is one of the most down to earth individuals we have met.  In this episode Jordan discusses how taking action creates motivation, which generates results, AKA, Dumbledore's Loop. We also dove deep into how Jordan set himself up for success, what motivates him, and the importance of being decisive when making decisions.
