Really loved the stories I’ve heard so far from this podcast! In a world with so much need for perfection and showing your best side— it’s really important to hear stories like these of finding your own path in mental health and managing stressors. Even though I’m not an athlete myself or even a sports fanatic, I can really relate to these stories of people finding peace and even just a healthy state of mind.
This quote from Sarah has moved me personally, and I will keep it in mind as I have my own conversations about mental health: “Having a neutral in your life is important. Someone that isn’t your parent, isn’t your friend, isn’t your partner, isn’t your coach, helping you through stuff. That is a unique relationship to have with a therapist.”
