On this weeks episode we are super excited to have callie skembo as a guest on our show. Callie was a friend of Katherines in highschool and is currently living and studying in NW arkansas. We are very grateful she was so open to talking to us about everything on the podcast from transferring schools her freshman year to growing up mormon and coming out as gay all in the past couple of years. Callie has a great coming of age story about taking pride in being your one true self but also recognizing that young adulthood is a time for learning and figuring out exactly who that is!

Cures what ails you
This was one of, if not my top podcast during pandemic times. I may be a bit biased in that I go to the same university as the podcast hosts and thus found a special joy in hearing about their experiences and exploits in places I was familiar with. Most of all, though, it was enjoyable and empowering and relatable— exactly the vicarious storytelling I needed in a time of social disconnect. Even today I think back to the episodes as a source of support and encouragement. The podcast really holds a special place in my heart!!
