Fireside Thoughts is a series that addresses some of the most difficult questions in society today. Its aim is to aid in depolarizing this nation through healthy and controlled dialogue. Follow-up podcasts will be made for all episodes that give rise to good conversations.

    What is universal healthcare? Can we afford to insure everyone? What is the state of our current healthcare system? In this episode, I explore the issue of whether universal healthcare is a good idea or not, providing evidence in the form of data and reasoning to back up my points. This is part 2 of a 2-part episode. Part 1 focuses on the problems with our healthcare system, while part 2 focuses on potential solutions. This part of this episode of Fireside Thoughts took many hours of research, with data spanning across 12 sources.
