First & Final Matt Jennings and Krista Jennings Langford
-
- TV & Film
-
The brother-sister duo of Matt and Krista examine the pilot and finale of a different television show each episode. Sometimes they know all about the show. Sometimes they've never seen it. But they will always make jokes about it.
-
Ep. 21 - Dawson's Creek
FINALE TIME. Matt and Krista close out their first (and final?!?!?!) season of First & Final with Dawson's Creek. The talk about the cheesy writing, how good Katie Holmes and Joshua Jackson are, James Van Der Beek's cry face and more.
-
Ep. 20 - The Wire
Krista and Matt tackle the complexity of The Wire, Idris Elba's awesomeness, and the MANY connections between The Wire and other shows they watch.
-
Ep. 19 - Mad Men
Another controversial finale for another beloved show. Krista and Matt talk about how Mad Men portrays the '60s (PATRIARCHY!) and whether Don Draper ever really changed. They also find out that Krista is the far more cynical sibling.
-
Ep. 18 - Scrubs
Krista and Matt talk about J.D.'s fantasies, the John C. McGinley's great performance as Dr. Cox, silliness and plenty more as they discuss Scrubs.
-
Ep. 17 - M*A*S*H
Krista and Matt talk about the (many) problems with the pilot of M*A*S*H, but how it recovered to put out the best finale they've seen.
-
Ep. 16 - Seinfeld
It's a podcast about nothing as Krista and Matt talk about Seinfeld, including its great writing and whether or not it could get made today.

My favorite podcast!
I love this podcast! It's definitely my favorite. I love the idea of analyzing a show based on their first and last episode. I'm hoping that you'll make more!
Good good.
Looking for a good/funny/smart tv podcast to fill the spaces in my heart between Gilmore Guys episodes, and this fits the bill. I just love the premise and people talking about tv.
I like it
I like it but I don't love it I wouldn't mind if you guys recall past episodes I know it's Called first & last but I think it would be a better understand of the last episode and how the characters got to where they're at instead of guessing
