The Artist and Architect: Keerat Kaur

Keerat Kaur is known for her iconic pomegranate art as well as her two and three dimensional art that evokes dreamlike qualities inspired by Punjabi and Sikh culture. Farmer Protests in India

On this episode, I provide an overview of the farmer protests taking place in India. I review the new laws being introduced but also provide history and context leading up to this moment with information on the Green Revolution. Farmers are not only protesting one set of bills but they are fighting for their rights, their culture, and their survival. I do my best to use Western examples to explain this content from a first gen kids perspective.

Healthy Relationships

First gen kids are often raised in complex homes where relationships are influenced by trauma that adults carry but are unable to speak about. Over time, these relationships evolve and change impacting our understanding of healthy relationships.
