First Importance - Easter

In 1 Corinthians 15, St. Paul tells us that he delivered the message of Jesus' death and resurrection as of "first importance." Pastor Tritten compared that statement to the lede (lead) in a newspaper article and urged the congregation to not bury the lede. However, the world, represented by four deities, resists the work of Jesus' resurrection-powered kingdom. Those deities are Santa Muerte (Death), Moloch (Politics), Eros (Desire/Love), and Mammon (Earthly Possessions). Jesus overcomes all of them and gives us life, mercy, love, and grace.
